中证网讯（记者 杨洁）据上海经信委官微1月21日消息，上海已建成超过1.6万个5G宏基站、1.3万个5G室内小站，实现中心城区和郊区重点区域5G网络全覆盖。
据介绍，上海已成为国内乃至全球5G网络规模最大城市之一。韩国是全球最早开展5G建设并商用的国家，目前首尔地区已建成超过2万个5G宏基站。国内主要城市5G宏基站建设规模基本相当，北京、广州、深圳基站数在1.5万个左右。
2020年是5G建设的攻坚年和应用赋能的起步年，上海将坚守率先建成“双千兆宽带城市”的既定目标，以5G网络建设和应用创新为重点，加快抢占新一代信息技术发展的战略制高点，充分释放信息技术创新的扩散效应、溢出效应、普惠效应，夯实世界级信息基础设施标杆城市的基础。
2019年，上海市政府与中国联通、中国电信先后签署5G战略合作框架协议，三大运营商在上海完成投资超过126亿元，2020年计划投资200亿元，累计建设3万个5G宏基站、5万个5G室内小站，有望“三年任务两年完成”，基本实现5G网络全市覆盖，同步优化1300余处4G弱覆盖区。
