中证网讯（记者 张兴旺）11月13日，海通证券发布研报指出，视频应用将是5G最快落地的应用。
海通证券指出，随着视频技术的不断发展，出现了标清、高清和超清视频，目前视频已经向超高清技术发展，超高清视频被业界认为将是5G网络最早实现商用的核心场景之一。
海通证券认为，超高清视频的典型特征就是大数据、高速率。按照产业主流标准，4K、8K视频传输速率至少为12Mbps-40Mbps、48Mbps-160Mbps，4G网络己无法完全满足其网络流量、存储空间和回传时延等技术指标要求，5G网络良好的承载力成为解决该场景需求的有效手段。当前4K/8K超高清视频与5G技术结合的场景不断出现，广泛应用于大型赛事/活动/事件直播、视频监控、商业性远程现场实时展示等领域，成为市场前景广阔的基础应用。
