1月8日9时7分，舟山500千伏洛迦变投入运行，标志着全省首座500千伏海岛变电站启动投产。至此，500千伏电压等级实现了全省覆盖。
500千伏洛迦变位于舟山市东北约11千米的定海区干览镇，于2017年5月6日开工建设，总投资4.4亿元。本期投产1000兆伏安主变2组，远景4组；220千伏出线一期10回，远景16回；500千伏一期3回，远景8回。该变电站是浙江省舟山地区第一个500千伏变电站工程，是舟山与大陆联网工程第一通道和第二通道的重要枢纽，也是全省首座500千伏海岛变电站。此前，浙江已建有48座500千伏变电站。投产后，将实现全省11个地市500千伏电压等级全覆盖，使浙江电力主网架更加安全可靠。
据悉，洛迦变投产启动依照计划分两个阶段。第一阶段于当日启动220千伏洛云线和迦龙线；第二阶段将于1月15日启动500千伏洛威线和洛晓线。届时强劲电能将通过世界第一输电高塔和世界首条500千伏交联聚乙烯海缆源源不断流入舟山，为舟山群岛新区经济增长提供电能保障。
