近日，加拿大蒙特利尔银行（BMO）投资部门表示，随着中国和欧洲煤炭进口量下降，加之可再生能源和液化天然气竞争日渐激烈，预计到2025年，全球海运动力煤需求将较2017年下降2%。
蒙特利尔银行预计，到2025年，全球海运动力煤需求将由2017年的9.82亿吨下降至9.64亿吨。其中，最大的煤炭消费国中国进口量将下降24%至1.56亿吨。蒙特利尔银行表示，需求量下降主要是由于燃煤电厂煤炭消耗量下降。
不过，到2025年，亚洲第二大动力煤消费国印度的进口量将较2017年增长12%，达到1.79亿吨，同期，东南亚需求量也将增长近30%至1.19亿吨。
“由于环保政策更加严格、电力行业液化天然气占比不断增加，加之可再生能源发电成本降至历史低点，都对燃煤发电的未来发展造成压力。”蒙特利尔银行表示。
“虽然煤炭仍是一个国家实现经济发展最快捷且最廉价的方式，但我们的研究结果显示，未来几年内全球煤炭交易量呈温和下降趋势。”该银行表示。
蒙特利尔银行预计，2025年，欧洲经合组织国家动力煤需求量将较2017年下降22%至6400万吨。
另外，到2025年，海运动力煤供应量预计将下降1.2%至9.68亿吨。
