最近几天，国内煤炭产量数据披露，进口煤政策也逐步明晰，短期内供应充足，但到高峰期仍有可能供应不足。
根据国家统计局公布的数据，2018年10月份全国原煤产量30513万吨，同比增长8%，环比下降0.29%。同比增幅加大的主要原因是去年同期产量比较低，而环比产量下降的原因还是受安全及环保因素影响。
如果从全国日均原煤产量看，9月份全国日均原煤产量达到1020万吨，而在10月份受多起煤矿矿难影响，全国日均原煤产量降到了984万吨，环比9月份每天的产量减少了36万吨。如果算上进口煤，10月份整个市场的日均供应量在1060万吨左右，在电厂日耗不高的情况下供应比较宽松。
但如果按市场报道的那样，在今年年底之前基本不安排进口煤炭通关，那么市场的供应形势很可能会出现一些变化。目前，全国原煤日均产量大概也就1020万吨左右的水平，如果完全没有进口煤补充，在12月份的用煤高峰期日均缺口差不多会有50万吨。
整体来看，好在现在电厂的库存都比较高，用煤高峰期可以通过去库存来对冲进口煤的影响，但进口煤收紧至少能够保证市场煤价格不至于大幅下跌。
