国际能源署(IEA)周二表示，由于印度和其他亚洲国家的需求增长抵消欧洲和美国的下滑，全球煤炭需求将不断攀升直到2023年。
总部位于巴黎的IEA表示，预计煤炭消耗量平均每年将增长0.2%，从2017年的53.55亿吨煤当量增加到2023年的54.18亿吨煤当量。
“尽管媒体对减少煤炭投资和摆脱煤炭给予了极大的关注，但市场趋势证明不容易改变，”IEA在报告中称。
煤炭仍然是全球第二大的一次能源，仅次于石油，也是最大的电力来源。
预计中国的煤炭消费量每年下降0.5%，到2023年降至26.73亿吨煤当量，主要缘于效率改善和遏制空气污染的政策。
IEA表示，由于燃煤发电量和粗钢产量的增加，印度煤炭消费量将大幅增长，预计会增加1.46亿吨煤当量，到2023年达到7.08亿吨煤当量。
